Tauranga is situated in the Bay of Plenty, North Island. Our fishing area comes under the  Eastern Fish and Game region. This incorporates the Bay of Plenty, Rotorua lakes area, East Coast, Lake Waikaremoana, and the Waikato river and lakes from Huka Falls to Maraetai.

 

         It includes some of the best known waters in New Zealand, and caters for all methods of trout fishing – lakes, river and stream; fly fishing, spinning, jigging, trolling and harling.. Both rainbow and brown trout can be caught throughout the region, with most waters holding good numbers of fish.
